Move cleaning is easiest to scope when the property timeline is clear. Knowing when rooms will be empty, utilities will remain on, and keys must be transferred helps avoid last-minute uncertainty.
Confirm what remains in the property
Note whether appliances, shelving, furniture, or stored items will still be present. Empty and occupied spaces require different timing and techniques.
Identify handoff expectations
A lease, sale, or builder turnover may call for specific attention. Share any written checklist so the estimate can reflect it.
Protect the schedule
Leave enough time after movers or contractors finish and before the final walkthrough. Overlapping crews can reintroduce dust and make access difficult.
